The 10th CoP meeting will focus on Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and the role of tax incentives.
The agenda includes findings from recent International Monetary Fund (IMF) work on tax incentives in SEZs. This will be complemented by country presentations from Panama by Fausto Fernández (Vice Minister of Finance) and a second country, sharing their experiences with the design and implementation of SEZs, the use of tax incentives within them, and the implications for investment and domestic revenue mobilisation.
